According to the Complaint, the Company made false and misleading statements to the market. Gritstone would fail to launch its Phase 2b CORAL Study in the timeframe it had promised investors. This delay hampered the Company’s ability to secure external funding related to the study. The Company overstated its ability to commercialize its products. Based on these facts, the Company’s public statements were false and materially misleading throughout the class period. When the market learned the truth about Gritstone, investors suffered damages.
